I could not wait to place the first order and did it right away. I have heard my boss yell at the office supply delivery man about six times over the past month. It seems that they have a new manager and none of the orders are correct. My boss asked the delivery man if there was any way he could give him the name of the owners and their phone number. He gave him both and then told him to make sure to put in a good word for him, our deliveries were not late, just not correct which he has no part in filling them.

I heard most of the conversation on my boss’s side about how since they had changed their managers, most of the office supply orders have been incorrect and that we have used them for so long and do not want to have to find someone else. I am not sure if it did any good but we will see, the next time our delivery man comes by with our next order.

I wanted to make sure that I gave enough consideration to all the different types of life insurance out there, so I made sure to request a life insurance quote for every kind. I knew that my parents had always had term life insurance and my brother recently signed up for a no medical life insurance policy himself.

I know that there are probably other kinds of life insurance too, which is the reason for the request of one of every kind of a life insurance quote. It may take me a little longer to make a decision but I think that it was a very smart move on my part.

In the end, I understand that the no medical life insurance sounds more appealing than any other kind and I have not even seen the numbers yet but I do not want to look back and think that I did not cover all my options with something this important.

Getting life insurance in place is my first step to planning for my future. I have also decided to set up a will with my attorney later this week, and I need to make sure that the beneficiary to the life insurance will also be handling my estate, so as not to cause any problems among my family members.

I really thought that our boss would approve the purchase of the new servers after we submitted all the necessary forms for him to look at. This would be the first time in the history of the company since I have worked here that he has told us no. I was the one that got everyone all excited about the new servers we were getting and now I would have to tell them that I let them down.

As I was beginning to make the announcement, my boss stepped out of the elevator and started for the conference room we were all standing in. He asked me to let him speak and I stepped out of the way. I never expected him to say that we were in fact getting some different servers, but that they would be used servers that had been refurbished. The whole office cheered and a feeling of calmness took me over.

I did not care if the servers were new or not, just that they were of working order. The used poweredge servers that I picked out for our office were really nice and could handle double the workload the old ones could. The used poweredge servers were also ten thousand dollars apiece cheaper than the new ones we had requested. I guess I can see why he turned us down and went with the used servers.
